It is our responsibility to make sure that you, our members, are safe. We take this responsibility seriously and work hard to ensure that all of our student groups have the correct support and procedures in place to keep you safe and sound.
In the first instance, any students involved in an emergency issue which the University needs to be made aware of, should be directed to contact Security on 0151-231-2222.
All students that have registered to be part of one of our affiliated student groups are covered under our insurance policy. You must join each group through its webpage on our website in order to be insured.
If you're a non-LJMU student or study at the International Study Centre you will just need to complete the non-LJMU Student Membership Form. These can be found in the "Committee Training" resources section of our website.
If you are unable to pay via our website, please pay in cash at our reception in the John Foster Building, 80-98 Mount Pleasant, L3 5UZ, between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday.

We may need to contact your group to ask you to provide us with specific details about your activity/event/sport, so this can be considered in the risk assessments.
Accident/Incident Report Form – If a member of your group has an accident, please complete this form as soon as possible following the incident.
Independent Climbing Practical Competency Checklist & Declaration – If your group is doing any outdoor climbing as part of a trip, each member would need to complete this form and send it back to the Activities Team on firstname.lastname@example.org before you book anything.
