Student Development & Activities Manager (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £30,068-£31,911 (Grade 8, SCP 24-26) 

Contract: 12 month, fixed-term contract

Info: As well as being the key staff support for the Vice President Activities, the Student Development & Activities Manager is responsible for the successful and efficient management of the Student Development and Activities team. This will include recruitment, induction, training, planning, creating objectives, supporting team members to deliver to a high standard, allocating tasks and overall budget management.

This role is also there to support and assist student groups and their volunteer-led committees to recruit members; create development plans to ensure sustainability; submit grant applications and produce risk assessments. Your overall aim will be to develop individuals’ skills and capacity to create stronger, student focussed groups.

Student Group Administrator 

Salary: £18,798 (Grade 3, SCP 7) 

Contract: 12 month, fixed-term contract

Info: Our Student Group Administrator is an essential part of delivering our vision. They support volunteers to organise safe and varied student activities and help us to engage more students. LiverpoolSU supports a wide range of sporting activity, both social and competitive. We strive to increase participation in our student groups, and support them to achieve their development goals, whether they are an increase in membership, or on the field success. Currently we support 40 competitive sporting groups, which includes 35 BUCS clubs and 42 teams.
