This week we celebrated at LJMU's summer graduation ceremonies at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Despite the fluctuating weather, students flocked in their best attire to commemorate their achievements at Liverpool John Moores University. Almost 15 school across the university celebrated the successes of their students. Graduants strutted across the graduation stage as they collected their scrolls one by one. A moment that looks like it's been taken straight out of Hogwarts, students wore their immaculate caps and gowns.

Student Officers across two different teams assisted the University by parttaking in the ceremonies, celebrating student success and leading the procession through the cathedral. Once ceremonies ended, we witnessed a sea of caps (and, at times, umbrellas) acended above our heads. Our graduants didn't let the weather get them down: this moment was all about them.

Thank you to staff, family and friends for supporting your loved ones - we're sure without your support they wouldn't be where they are today without you. And, to the graduants themselves - well done. You have had an amazing couple of years at LJMU, and will continue to be apart of the John Moores family for life, as you carry alumni status with you. You've also made history, by becoming the very few graduants to graduate during LJMU's bicentenary year - hopefully this will be a moment you will treasure forever.

We hope this isn't goodbye, we hope it's see you soon. LJMU offer many work opportunities for graduates to take advantage of - we will always be here to offer support and guidance even though you've finished your degree.
