Soc and vol awards

On Friday 17th April 2026, we took over Boxpark for an unforgettable evening celebrating the incredible achievements of our Societies and Volunteering community at JMSU.

The event brought together students, volunteers, and partners from across LJMU for a night dedicated to recognising the passion, commitment, and impact shown throughout the academic year. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on everything that has been accomplished and to celebrate the people who make it all happen.

We kicked off the evening with food, drinks, and plenty of time to socialise, giving everyone a chance to connect and share their experiences. The atmosphere was buzzing as attendees came together ahead of the main event - the awards ceremony itself.

The awards highlighted the outstanding contributions of individuals, societies, and volunteering projects, showcasing the creativity, leadership, and dedication within our student community.

After the awards, the celebrations continued with a couple of lively rounds of bingo, followed by everyone heading to the dance floor to round off the night in style.
