The nominations are in and your JMSU Student Officer candidates will be announced very soon.
Official voting to choose your next Student Officers opens on 23 March.
Youโll receive a fast track voting link straight to your email, making it quick and easy to have your say. Voting will also be available through the JMSU website and at pop-up voting stations across campus during the week.
In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled โ you may start seeing candidates around campus sharing their ideas and explaining why they deserve your vote.
Hosted by Josh (your VP of Activities), this event includes a guest lecture covering the history of golf, career opportunities in the industry, insights from the JMSU Golf Team, and performance nutrition expertise from LJMUโs Professor Graeme Close.
You will also have the chance to meet local employers at The Open Championship Golf Fair, including organisations from security, hospitality, catering and event support. You could even walk away with a job opportunity on the day.
Whether you are a golf fan or simply looking for flexible paid work experience, this event is open to everyone.
