About Our Group |

Hey! Thanks for clicking on us. We're an academic society created by students from all sorts of degrees including Literature / Creative Writing. Our society is for any student from any course who has an interest in books, writing, theatre, film adaptations, non-fiction writing etc... all things literature! We're here for those who wish to share their interest of books and creativity amongst others in a safe and inclusive space. We do hold monthly socials and pub quizzes, but we also champion non-drinking events and support regarding the pressure to drink on nights out. Key Information (When, Where and How Often We Meet) |

Our society meets most weeks in the academic year :)
Every week, there will either be a meeting in the SLB, a Book Club meeting, a Pub Quiz or a Social. We may also do collaborations or one off events with external speakers (any events tbc).
Meetings will take place on tuesdays, and book clubs will be on the wednesday the week after. There are two of each session each month. Locations and times will be announced on our socials, so keep an eye out!
Pub Quiz/ Social dates will vary, but are likely to fall on thursday-sunday.
We will also have a social when there are launches of our magazine, which is every two months. Our first edition will be released at the beginning of October. If you wish to contribute, give us an email! (linked below)
