British sign language is scarcely taught in schools or universities. As a result, there is difficulty in communication between those who sign and those who cannot. At present, there is a lack of resources and very little information about BSL on the university website. It would be of interest for free courses/classes to be made available for students wanting to learn BSL. Additionally, I beleive it would be a insightful experience to hear more from guest speakers who have firsthand experience with BSL. Many thanks, Eleanor Crossland.
