Sefton Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) is an independent registered charity with a borough-wide brief to assist and support voluntary community and faith sector (VCF) activity across Sefton, Merseyside.
Give volunteering a go and support Freshfield Animal Rescue by helping out with gardening and general maintenance around the site.
The session will take place on:
9th March
10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sign up for this event and we’ll send you all the details you need. No previous experience is required — just a willingness to get stuck in and help make a difference.
During the session, volunteers will assist with gardening and maintenance tasks, helping to keep the rescue environment safe, clean, and welcoming for the animals and staff.
This volunteer taster session is open to everyone, including locals, students, individuals, corporate groups, and anyone interested in supporting animal welfare.
All equipment will be provided. As the work is outdoors and physical, please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sturdy comfortable shoes, and weather-appropriate layers.
Refreshments will be provided, and it’s a great opportunity to give something back while spending time in a rewarding, hands-on environment. Freshfields is located between Formby nad Crosby just outside a villege called Ince Blundell.
We’d love to see you there! Sign up today.
