Nugent Sleep Out

Details Hide[-]

Taking place on Thursday 24 September at The Reader, Calderstones Park, Sleep Out brings colleagues, supporters and businesses together for one unforgettable night to raise vital funds that help Nugent provide a lifetime of support for children, adults and families when they need it most.

Whether you choose to sleep out or volunteer behind the scenes, you'll be helping to ensure that together, we continue creating a lifetime of support.

Why Sleep Out?

Sleep Out isn't about recreating the experience of homelessness or pretending to understand what it feels like to have nowhere to call home. It's about standing in solidarity with those facing hardship, raising awareness and funding the support that can change lives.

For many people, homelessness is associated with sleeping rough. But for many vulnerable young people, the reality begins much earlier. When they reach adulthood, support can reduce dramatically, leaving some at greater risk of homelessness, exploitation, involvement in gangs or serious mental health challenges.

Nugent is working to change that.

Through our lifelong pathway of support, we're there whenever and wherever we're needed most, helping people navigate life's challenges and creating opportunities for brighter futures. The funds raised through Sleep Out help us continue delivering those vital interventions, ensuring more people have somewhere to turn before they reach crisis.

By signing up, you'll join colleagues, supporters, businesses and friends of Nugent for an inspiring evening filled with community spirit, purpose and hope.

Not sleeping out? Volunteer instead!

We're also looking for colleagues to help make the event a success. From welcoming participants and supporting registration to helping activities run smoothly throughout the evening, our volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, enjoyable and memorable event.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to get involved if sleeping out isn't for you. You'll still be part of an incredible evening while supporting your colleagues and helping raise vital funds.

How you can get involved

There are two ways to support Sleep Out 2026:

  • Sign up and take part in the Sleep Out challenge.
