Sustainability Tips and Resources

Here at JMSU Sustainability is a core part of who we are and what we do. We have over the last year declared a Climate Emergency, formed a Sustainability Action Plan, recruited Sustainability Champions, and much more! Through all this, we have and continue to gather tips and resources that we have shared below!

Top Tips

  • Get Involved! Why not join a group, become a Sustainability Champion, or simply come to an event?
  • Use Your Skills - whatever they are, all sustainability groups need them.
  • Look for simple swops - reusable water bottle, bamboo straws, refillable produce... each little thing helps.
  • Build up to bigger things instead of doing everything in one go.
  • Put pressure on big companies to be more responsible and sustainable.
  • Shop local.
  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Upcycle
  • Clothes Swop, Charity Shops Embrace Slow Fashion.
  • Think Before You Print.
