Hi, I’m Miles, your JMSU President. When I was a student at LJMU, I made the decision to get involved with volunteering and it completely changed my time here. It gave me confidence, helped me build skills I never thought I had, and most importantly it connected me with people and experiences that made my journey unforgettable.
Why I Believe in Volunteering
Volunteering gave me the chance to discover what I was capable of. I learned how to work with others, how to lead, and how to step up when it mattered. These are skills I use every single day in this role as President. But beyond the skills, it made me feel like I was really part of something bigger than myself.
My Call to You
I would encourage you to take that step and get involved. No matter how much time you can give, you will grow, you will make an impact, and you will walk away with experiences that will stay with you long after your degree. Trust me, it is worth it.
