Ukraine

Following our recent statement relating to the unprovoked and unjustified attacks and military aggression carried out by the Russia against the Ukraine, we have had an outpouring of support from students who have come forward to ask how they can show support for all people in the Ukraine. Here are some ways you can help.

Donations
Unicef is welcoming either one-off single or monthly payments to its recently launched Ukraine appeal. Donations can be made here.
British Red Cross is collecting donations which will help those in need get water, food, first aid, access to medicines, warm clothes and shelter. Donations can be made online for an amount that you can choose using either a bank card or PayPal. Learn more here.
Save the Children is collecting donations which are being used to distribute essential supplies including food and medicines, as well as offering vital mental health and psychosocial support to children and their families. Donations can be made here.

Write to MP
Another way you can support the people of Ukraine is through our parliamentary representatives. This can be done via email (the Ukrainian Institute London has a draft one available) and you can find the contact details of your constituency MP on the WriteToThem website.
