Society of the Month (December) - Anime & Asian
The winner of Society of the Month for December 2020 is Anime & Asian Society!
Society of the Month in December is Anime & Asian Society. Committee members have worked closely with members to support members and provide a friendly, inclusive online social space. Both have been very hard at work engaging with not just their members and putting on countless events.
Members from the Anime Society said:-
'Chill place where I have met friends where in my first year I wasn't confident enough to talk to anyone they helped me'
'They have made the most out of lockdown with continued anime screenings and online socials such as drawing competitions and games'
Members from Asian Society (ASOC) said:-
'I have felt most welcome to this society and feel privileged to be a part of it'
'They have been posting about students' mental health and offered support to the members!'
We highly commend their efforts this month and look forward to seeing what else they’re got planned for the rest of the year!
