Kirsty Leatherbarrow, an Environmental Health student at LJMU is currently conducting a study focusing on the use of alcohol at university. The aim of the project is to examine students’ drinking behaviour and how entrance to university can influence young people’s norms and behaviours.
She is looking for volunteers to take part in small focus groups where you will be able to share your thoughts and opinions on this particular topic. It is anticipated that the focus groups will last for an hour in length, with between 6 – 10 students taking part in each group.
You are eligible to take part in the study if you are aged 18 and older, and are a student at Liverpool John Moores University. We are preferably looking for first year students who have recently experienced fresher’s week, although other students are welcome.
