About Our Group

Sadly, this society has become inactive and is in need of committee members to take over it for next year. Could you be the ideal committee member?

Being a committee member means organising the sessions and setting up events, trips, challenges and many more. It looks amazing on your CV and is a great way to make friends and improve your confidence.

If you are still a student next year and are interested in being a committee member and re-setting up this society for next year, please send an email to jmsusoceities@ljmu.ac.uk so we can send you some more information.

We aim to meet atleast once a month, this can be for a range of things such as: coffee, spooky movies, food and drinks and social nights out.

Why Should You Join Us?

Starting uni and meeting new people is daunting at the best of times, but it can feel even harder to make friends when you have niche interests. We wanted to create a group for alternative people to slot into within the university that is full of like-minded people :) 

We have fun socials that are always a laugh and are hoping to have more themed socials/meet-ups such as gigs, movie nights, ghost tours, game nights etc.
