The LJMU Film Society returns!

Are you a passionate cinephile? Are you a student filmmaker? Are you looking for university friends who share your interest in film and filmmaking? If so, you've found the society for you. It's the LJMU Film Society, the best LJMU Student society to discuss films and make short films for all students regardless of course. 

From screenings of classics, to quizzes and film themed game nights, to trips and to making films, the LJMU Film Society offers a range of relevant events that will satisy all members. Best of all we are free to join!

Key Information (When, Where, and How Often We Meet)

Our events are weekly every Tuesday 6PM in the SLB. Any events outside the SLB will be posted to members beforehand.

Why Should You Join Us?

Coming to university is universally a difficult time and that's not even including making friends. The LJMU Film Society is a great way to overcome these struggles by providing a strong support system of other students who share your interests. Just being able to talk with others in a similar situation can make the transition to university far more manageable.

The LJMU Film Society is also a great place to develop your film knowledge and filmmaking skills through the help of peers and the simple fact that there's opportunities to practice and learn with high quality equipment and enthusiastic crews.
