Overview

Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference? We are seeking Marketing & Social Media Support Volunteers.

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

There is an opportunity for hybrid and remote working with this Volunteer role. There will be in person meetings and trainings that will need to be attended in Birkenhead.

Responsibilities

Purpose of role:

At Change Grow Live we believe social media platforms are a great way to connect with those who use our services and engage with new young people or family members. We also use social media to offer advice and give information, whilst promoting the services and support we have on offer.

As a social media support volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the team to maintain our social media presence. This will include promoting local initiatives, providing harm reduction advice, and updating people of any service changes. You will also play a key role in the development and growth of our social media presence. This could include exploring additional platforms and being creative and innovative with how we deliver our content.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to gain experience while supporting a local service to grow and maintain its social media platforms and presence. You will be supported by the Comms and Marketing Lead and given training around our service to support you in your role. You can really make a difference by helping us to engage with people right across the Wirral.
