Attendance and appeals
Although attendance at university is important, we know that issues arise, which may reduce your attendance or stop it altogether.
If you stop attending university, the university will try to contact you to find out why this is happening. If you still are not attending, you could potentially be withdrawn from the university.
How do I tell someone about my absence?
- Speak with your personal tutor and your programme leader – it is their job to support you. This could the start the conversation about the Student Attendance Policy.
- Visit LJMU Student Advice & Wellbeing's page for further information and support.
- Get in touch with JMSU if you are struggling, need help and/ or advice. If you are withdrawn from the university, we can advise you on how to appeal the decision.
