My priorities

  1. Student Safety - Everyone deserves to feel safe on and off campus.

  2. Lets Talk About It! - making difficult conversations feel easier.

  3. Know Your Rights - every student should know their rights and feel empowered legally.

Hi! my name is Dorota and I am running for Vice President Community and Wellbeing. I have experience in organising events, leading campaigns and and working closely with JMSU, which will help in pushing initiatives to make changes that matter to students. Here is how I plan on focusing on student's wellbeing whilst at university:

Many are left in the dark about their rights - whether in housing, work, academic appeals, or dealing with authorities. I'll make legal knowledge accessible through a more student-friendly rights hub, interactive workshops with legal experts, and strong union support to held you hold institutions, landlords, and employers accountable.

Everyone deserves to feel safe on a night out. I'll push for stronger anti-spiking measures and better night-time transport. I'll also expand Reclaim the Night and fight for an independent Report and Support system with a zero-tolerance policy.

Too many important conversations get ignored because they're 'too uncomfortable' so I'd aim to create a safe, judgment-free space where students can talk openly, through informal collaborating with sports and societies and awareness campaigns. Plus, I'll launch a podcast where you decide the topics, and we have conversations together. Let's talk about it!

I am ready to listen and take action to make a difference for students!
