My priorities

  1. Ensuring access to mental health resources and reducing stigma.

  2. Organizing events to celebrate diversity and foster student engagement.

  3. Advocating for affordable housing, food options, and accessible services.

As a first-year professional policing student at LJMU, I am driven by a deep commitment to the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of every student within our community. If given the opportunity to serve as Vice President of Community and Wellbeing, my mission will be to create a supportive, secure, and connected environment where every student feels valued, heard, and safe.

The foundation of my approach lies in three core pillars: safety, support, and connection.

Firstly, I will work tirelessly to ensure that all students feel safe both on and off campus. This means collaborating with local authorities and campus security to implement clear, effective safety protocols and support systems, including increased awareness of mental health resources and emergency services.

Secondly, student wellbeing cannot be nurtured without robust support systems. I will advocate for accessible accommodation services that prioritize student needs, including affordable housing options, as well as initiatives that support students in navigating academic pressures, mental health challenges, and financial hardships.

Lastly, I am committed to fostering a sense of connection across all aspects of campus life. By creating opportunities for students to engage in social, cultural, and academic activities, I will work towards a community where everyone feels a sense of belonging and empowerment.

As your Vice President, I will listen to your needs, act on your concerns, and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive at LJMU. Together, we can create a safer, healthier, and more connected university for all.
